Quick Rainforest Cafe card question...

We signed up for Rainforest Cafe club in 2005. We have easily kept it going at Disney by using the card for dinner but this year is different. We used it 2x in late August 2009 but our next trip isn't until December 2010, my year will have passed. Dh and I are going to Chicago soon, can I buy something at the gift shop and have it count? We dont really plan on eating, we wanted to do more adult places we have not tried yet. I just dont want my card to lapse... Or do we have to have drinks and an appetizer, a food purchase to keep the card current?

I wonder if you bought a drink at the bar(with or without the alcohol) if that would count??? To be sure you could just call restaraunt or there maty be a contact number on the website

I use minein Atlantic city in the gift shop when I go to keep it active and have never had a problem.

When I asked I was told as long as I scanned my card and the gift shop counts as that, far as I know.
