Quick question.....

We have a discussion in our house and would like to know someone elses opinion.....If a girl is high maintenance how would you define it?

High maintenance means she has to have everything she wants. She doesn't just shop - she shops at Nordstrom's. She doesn't just get highlights and haircuts - she goes into the "City" to get them done. Her BF or DH caters to her every whim, because she expects it - and that's just the way their relationship works.

I think of high maintenence as someone who colors their hair and more drastic color, has fake nails, constant pedicures, must wear the latest, has a purse and matching jewelry for every outfit, tans a lot, shops/spends a lot, wants her way, talks about herself, thinks life revolves around her, must drive a certain kind of car, live in a certain neighborhood, etc. etc.

People can do a few of these but when you roll it all into one, it equals high maintanence to me. I don't want to be around anyone who is high maintenance. I ind them to be less than pleasant. JMHO.

High maint= expensive upkeep & frequent "appointments" for upkeep ; someone that spends a lot of time & money on how they look, someone who really really cares a lot about outward appearance and vanity

Normal people want to look nice, high main are the girls who spend their whole life and paycheck

"I want what I want when I want it.....and I'll get it". High maintenance women really, IMO, are very insecure in who they are and very uncomfortable with themselves. Lots of money, lots of time, always want more, and nothing is too good for these gals....or at least my one friend who is HM. And she lets her husband know it about 10X per day. Oh,,,and I forgot about whining...she whines until she gets what she wants.

Along these lines, someone who takes more than she gives. Demands attention, focused on getting what SHE needs, not so interested in what everyone around her might need from her.
