Im an over planner and over thinker and hope that I can have everything thought out sooner rather than later...so here goes the question
....

if having a reception/dinner at Narcoosee's is it possible to have a private dining room?

if there is private dining room...are the decor colors the same as the regualr dinign area?

is there a different menu you could use or do you have to go with the regular menu?

when you order a drink package from disney catering can that only be used when doing private dining?

There is no private room at Narcoossee's.

Sometimes large groups who dine during restaurant hours must order off a separate menu, but it usually has most of the same items on it.

If you have a private catered event there when the restaurant is closed, you will use Disney Catering menus.

Yes - drink packages are only for when you're working with Disney Catering.

what are the cost advantages/disadvantages of having a dinner reception in a restaurant vs. a private place (ex. st james room)?

It is usually cheaper to just eat there during regular business hours because there is no minimum expenditure. Say you have 15 guests and a $1,500 food and beverage minimum for a private event - you must spend $100/person on food and drinks. But if your guests just ordered off the regular menu, you might get away with, say, a $25 entree, $6 appetizer, and $6 dessert per person, plus a couple of drinks each.
