Can hair straighteners go in hand luggage??

I dont think there is a specific rule that says they cant but they do prefer all larger electical items to be put in the hold as it will need to be screened separatly if taken as handluggage so keep them at the top of your bag so you can get them out easily.

I regularly take mine in my hand luggage as we use Twilight Check-in and stay at the Sofitel the night before. Obviously I need sleek hair for the flight.
