Quick question re: DDP

I recently rented points at OKW for August and I requested the renter to reserve the DDP for my family, which she did. My question is am I now obligated to the DDP or can I decline it when I check in (I know I don't pay for it until I check in). My itinerary has changed somewhat and would prefer to not use the DDP, and my renter is at WDW so I can't ask her.

The member that you rented from will need to contact MS to ask them to delete it from your reservation. I don't think you can just decline it when you check in.

I was told that you would need to request the DDP and/or cancel it at least 48 hours before check in.

As others have posted 48 hours notice is required. You have plenty of time to get it removed.

Did you need Disney's Magical Express transfer service from the airport? Your renter can add the service to your reservation when they cancel the dinning plan.
