We have got an American Express Travellers Cheque card. We have never had a problem using TCs in the parks before but this will be the first time using the card.

I am wanting to buy a Power Pass at the gate and also pay for meals in the parks - will the card be accepted? Or am I better making sure I bring enough cash?

I can't speak for at the gate, but we have used AMEX Cheque Cards at Margaritaville and Pat O'Brien's with no trouble at all.

You shouldn't have any problems using it. I believe it scans just like a credit card. If it requires a pin number whenever you purchase anything, then you won't be able to use it to purchase tickets. If it doesn't require a pin number to purchase things, then you will be OK.

Thanks both for your replies - I don't believe it needs a pin number for purchases so we should be OK :)

Some places will ask for your postcode.

As UK codes have both letters and numbers it varied between shops whether you were supposed to put in the store's zip code or the postcode of where you live :confused3

We did it both ways with no problems whatsoever :thumbsup2

You just need the pin for the ATM :sunny:
