Quick question on the DVC AP discount

So I went to dvcmember.com and was wondering if I have my facts straight...

I can wait to get APs until I get to WDW Guest Relations, just show my DVC Member Card and my ID and I can get the DVC discount. Is this correct?

I'd just rather do that than do the whole voucher thing for my kids (DH and I already have current APs).
