Quick. Question: magic bands for tips?

Hi! We 're going in Sept. and will be on DDP. Is my understanding correct that I can charge the tip on my magic band and therefore do not have to carry anything into the park for MNSSHP?

When you set up your MDE account you can link your credit card to it. When using your dining entitlements they scan your magic band and bring you a paper credit card slip. You can add your gratuity at that time and it will automatically be charged to your account. In other words, you don't need to bring your credit card into the park as long as it's linked.

The Magic Band does everything. All you need is your personal items. Sunglasses , tissues , etc.

Can you link a different cc to you Magic Band either before or after you arrive?

I originally linked a card to use to make all my ADR's but now I have a Disney Visa on the way and would like to link that instead.

Yes. When you check in, they usually ask if you want to leave the credit card that you booked on. If they don't ask, just tell them, and they will fi it for you!

I'd bring SOMETHING in case the computers go down, the bands don't work, etc.
