Obviously, he isn't on the DDP. The rest of us will be & we're all considered "adults" for the DDP purposes.
If I order him his own food, which will probably happen a few times, they can't use a credit for him, so will they just bring me the check with his portion & the tip to pay for? Or do I need to make sure I tell them I'll be paying OOP for his food?

I would tell the server just so they would know and you/they won't have any problems. At the buffet resturants you can fix DS his own plate. If he will be sharing from your plate you can request an empty plate.

Personally there is enough food for him to share and you not go hungry.

If you feel he will need his own food, then make sure to remind the server that you will be paying OOP for his meal. Just so there isn't any confusion. Then always check and make sure the correct amount of credits are deducted. As good as the CMs are/try to be, things happen, so always check and remind them. ;)
