Quick Question about Magical Express

This is kind of a silly question but I've never done DME before and I want to be absolutely sure I don't mess things up. Our flight lands in Orlando at 1 PM and we will not get lunch on the plane. Would I create any problems with DME reservations if we stop in the airport's food court to eat before we go to the DME counter? Basically, do they care if we arrive to the counter significantly later than our arrival time?

We landed at noon and opted to go to our resort to eat, but I've heard of others who had stopped and ate at the airport before getting on the bus. So I don't think it will matter.

They don't care when you show up for the bus. Take as much time as you need.

By all means stop for lunch first if you want. When you get to ME they will put you on the next available bus headed to your resort. No problem. Have a good trip!

No it doesn't matter. Some days you could wait awhile to get on the bus, some days you can hop right on. If you need to eat, by all means eat.

Flights are delayed all the time so Disney is prepared for people who "miss" their magical express time. We always hit the food court before magical express.

Going TO the airport you need to be on a bus at the right time. Leaving the airport they have to be flexible. A potty break, a meal, a delayed flight... anything could make you miss "your" bus, so they just let you take the bus that you show up for.

You can stop for lunch. We did! You have all day to get the bus. We always stop for lunch in the food court on the way to the bus and never have had an issue.

Right, when you arrive you do not have a reservation on a specific bus. You have a pass that lets you on a ME bus when you "choose" to go to board. Slight difference.
