Quick question about free dining

If free dining is offered in Aug./Sept. and say the dates are 8/20-9/26 (just for example-I know these aren't the dates). If we book our reservations for the very last day of the free dining promo (example 9/26 to 9/30), will the free dining extend over to the rest of our reservation or is it only good for that date day? Did I confuse anyone?

Previously, the whole trip would be covered.

In previous years, as long as your reservations showed you were checking in by the last day of the promotion your whole stay would be covered with Free Dining. So, say Sept 26th is the last day of the promotion and that you have reservations starting on the 26th the free dining should cover your whole stay. This isn't to say Disney will allow this, but this has been the case in past years. It's going to be a wait and see until the actual promotion is offered.
