Quick Question about FP Enforcement

There are NO quick questions where FP is concerned.

I cannot envision ANY situation where it's right to deny entry after you've already been admitted to the FP line. If you get there one minute before your time expires and the initial CM see you are on time and lets you in, then you are in the line and you were on time. Two minutes later, you have not reached the merge point and your FP has now expired, but you are not late. You already "redeemed" your FP on time with the first CM.



This will obviously be happening a lot. All of us former late FP users will now jump the line with our expired FPs in an effort to continue to abuse the system (low-lifes that we are).

It seems the second CM now does have to look at the FP.

All the other times we have used FP the second CM just took it and moved us along, now they have to make sure its not a late one from someone who didn't plan right and jumped the barrier.

This must be why I just read on another thread that someone arrived late to the fastpass return and had their fast passes TORE UP IN FRONT OF THEIR FACE.

I don't have an issue with a CM keeping or even tearing the FP since it's no longer valid anyway (if the person wanted to keep it for a souvenir or scrapbook, they would not be trying to use it). That said, it would be highly inappropriate for the CM to make a production of "confiscating" and tearing it up as if to say "I know you would have tried to cheat and jump the line later."

100% the first person. If that's the person won't let you pass when you're early then that's the person who matters. As for people jumping over the line - I'm not worried about that because it's not a big issue in the parks. Let them take their risk of getting caught if they do that - not easy to do in most lines without being seen.
