Quick question about DME.

So I think I may already know the answer to this, but I just wanted to clarify. Is it possible to have the DME handle your luggage without actually getting on the bus? It depends on some scheduling, but I might have someone picking me up at the airport, and in that case I wouldn't want to ride the bus, but I really don't want to deal with getting the luggage either.
