Quick Question About Coffee Makers

I'm packing for a studio stay right now (woot woot!). I have a quick question about the coffee makers, though. Will 8-12 cup coffee filters work with them, or do I need to buy a smaller size?

Thanks for the help. I figured it's a lot cheaper to just pack my own than to buy when I get down there.

We tried that, but housekeeping came and told us there were no more 10-12 cup size and offered us a second 4 cup one. Considering that the 4 cup only makes 2 1/2 coffee mugs, we should have taken it

In 25+ years never had the problem of requesting and getting a 10-12 cup pot, where were you staying? I hope this is not a new policy, 2 mugs at a time just wont work.

Agreed - same thing happened to us at BCV in a studio (after refurb). As a person who will drink 8 cups by herself, it was no bueno.

The only DVC resort that has a 4 cup coffeemaker is at BCV. If I owned there or stayed there regularly, I would be writing Member Satisfaction as all DVC rooms should have a full size Mr. Coffee.

Like the others have said a flat bottom filter for 8 -12 cup coffeemakers works. Bring your favorite coffee too or plan a trip to the grocery store.

Excellent. That's just what I am doing for my stay at the Polynesian.

We had the four cup at Beach Club last year, got the we don’t have the 8-12 cup from housekeeping. I emailed member satisfaction and received a phone call from them telling me the large pot would be delivered to our room. Amazing how quickly one showed up.
