My uncle made our family's reservation for us, so without bothering him in order to call member services, I thought I'd ask the experts here.

my reservation reads, "Vacation home type: 2BR/1Qn&1Sofabed in 2nd BR."

do you all think this may be a dedicated 2 bedroom or a lockoff, or not sure?
I prefer a dedicated for the two bathroom sinks and extra closet...

TIA!

At BCV 1 queen & pull out is usually a lock-off but some dedicated will have 1 queen & pull out ( in other words not all dedicated 2br have 2 queens in second bedroom )

right, I know there are some with two queens, which I know I do not have... but I was wondering if the language on the reservation will normally specify "dedicated" if that is what is reserved, or "lockoff," if that is what is reserved. Mine says neither, so should I assume it's a lockoff?

Thanks!

Now, I'm not a BCV owner, nor do I play on TV and I didn't sleep at a HI Express last night.... But I would venture to guess that this is a dedicated 2 bedroom WITHOUT the 2 queens in the bedroom. It would specify if it was a lockoff.

kathmzh,
I believe there are 3 booking categories for a 2BR at BCV. When I last called to make a reservation, they asked if I wanted
a) a dedicated 2 BR (1Qn&1Sofabed in 2nd BR),
b) a 2QU in 2nd BR or
c) a lockoff.

I currently have reservations for 2 reservation types (this is how it is listed on-line when I view vacation details):
1. Accommodation Two Bedroom Lockoff and
2. Accommodation 2BR/2 Queenbeds in 2nd BR

Since your reservation doesn't say "lockoff" on it, I believe you have a dedicated 2BR.

Another BCV owner here - I also believe you have a dedicated 2 BR. Our reservation this past January specified "lockoff" when we had one.

For our August 08 trip - I requested dedicated 2 BDR since 4 teenage girls would be in there. My confirmation read: 2 BDR/2 Qeen beds in 2nd BDR (or something similar).

OT: I wish I had known that there was no hair dryer in the 2nd bedroom which I thought was unusual - luckly they only came to use the one in the MBDR once or twice.

I knew you guys would know! thanks for all the great information, it does appear that I have a dedicated 2 BR (yea!). I think it's strange, though, as well, that there's no hairdryer in the second bedroom.

(BTW, sorry for posting in the wrong place)
