I am trying to figure out which park to visit with our DD5 and DS 2.5. Please vote above and tell me why you think your choice was better for younger ones. I have never been to either so any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

BB was closed the 1st year we went down, so we did just TL. Last year we did both. I felt that TL was geared more for the younger crowd. BB's kid area is more for the 6-10 age group, with 'zip lines' and the ice crossing. TL's Ketchakiddee Creek has miniature slides, and is largely for the <5 crowd.

I Like TL, there's shade for when the kids get to hot and need a break from the sun. TL also seemed to be relaxing and makes for a great day at the water parks. my DD's11,8,7 love TL. :sunny:

Bumping for more opinions...Thank you to those who have replied.

Blizzard Beach -- in additon to the "big kids" area someone mentioned above, there is a whole other area dedicated to kids under 40 inches or so. When our daugher was 2 and 3 she loved this area so much! There are "long" slides (not at all steep) they can go down alone, with lifeguards who catch them at the bottom. There are splash areas and lots more slides.

And at 8 she loved the bigger kid area.

Both parks have a nice lazy river, which is also great for little ones.

TL has the fun snorkelling experience, which BB doesn't have.

We love both parks for different reasons, but I think there are more slides and play things available for little ones at BB (surprising, but true).

Have a great time -- we love the water parks! :bounce:

we did both last month and ds5 loved BB much more. The kiddie area was excellent for him. he loved the tube slides and did them at least 20 times! he had a ball!!

TL is great, but BB has a section just for kids. There will be more slides and things to do for smaller children in that section. :earboy2:

We much preferred Blizzard Beach. The wave pool was much easier there. There were 2 kids areas (one geared towards older kids but plenty for little ones to do too). The family raft ride was more fun there too.
