OK, I spent the past few days at US/IoA after being away from the parks for five whole months. Anyway, some quick observations:
1) Finally saw the new Hulk Express Pass arrangement discussed here earlier. No two ways about it: It stinks.
2) Rip, Ride Rockit is now down more than ever. I love this coaster when it works, but this is clearly the biggest debacle in Universal history.
3) The dragons are still not dueling.
4) Service at the Three Broomsticks has ground to a standstill. Went in a few times for food/drinks. They often have just one register open and just one or two windows, with only a handful of people doing everything. I know we just went into a lower-crowd season, but the parks had a pretty good crowd. No reason for this.
5) How funny is it that the T-Rex in Jurassic Park river adventure is still roaring and lunging at tourists while all the pixie dust in the world can get the Expedition Everest yeti to budge an inch?
6) Lost Continent takes up a lot of space for not much of interest anymore. How much better will IoA be when Potter expands to take over this area?
7) Similarly, over at US the entire Amity village section including Jaws can go, go, go. They could do a lot with that space. Or do they not want to offend Mr. Spielberg?
