I am making something for Easter brunch that calls for 1 tablespoon of brandy.

We don't drink brandy and it would be a bit expensive to buy it for 1T.

I bought imitation brandy flavoring. Do I use the same amount of it as the recipe calls for. The bottle does not offer any advice.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I don't know if you still need this or not....

"If the recipe calls for 2 Tbs. rum or brandy, substitute 1/2 to 1 tsp. rum or brandy extract for recipes in which liquid amount is not crucial. Add water, white grape juice or apple juice if necessary to get the specified amount of liquid."

I got this at :
this site.
