We have a three day on-site stay followed by a one week offsite stay.

If I pre-purchase MM and link it to my MDE, will the park photos we take during the offsite week still be on the MM? How long is it 'valid"? I have a Magic Band with an AP if that makes any difference.

I am travelling with 5 other people during the offsite stay, and they are all under my friends and family, I manage their tickets and fastpasses, etc. If we separate, will their ride photos also show up on my MM? They will have regular RFID tickets, no bands.

Yes it will. Once you have linked it to your MDE and Magic band you have 45 days from when the first picture is taken to take more pictures and then modify them. If all of your party is linked to your MDE along with Memory maker then yes all the pictures anyone in your party take will be linked to your MDE. Also any ride photos and videos. You will get multiple pictures if you are riding together. Each Magic Band will get a photo added and same for the videos. You do not need to go to the photopass counter at the end of the ride to add the pictures to your account. Just exit and each of the Magic Bands will be identified and the pictures are added.

Agree with PP, except if the other family does not have Magic Bands, I don't think their ride photos are automatically captured in your account. I believe they would need to stop by the ride photo screens at the end of the ride and get their photo ID number from the CM there. You can then enter this number in the photopass web site and get the shots that way. I believe this means they can't get a 7 dwarfs picture, because there is not picture viewing/purchase spot after that ride. Offsite guests could consider buying bands just to get the "automatic capture" feature.

Also, your trip totally falls within valid MM dates, but I think the specifics are that you get 30 days of picture-taking (I.e. An AP could use it over multiple visits, but not all year long) then each picture "expires" from your account 45days after it is taken, so you need to download by then, or buy an extension (not sure the cost or duration of this), or you lose your photos.
