I am travelling with my sister and her family and we are on the same reservation (2BR at Kidani Village) and she is linked to my MDE account. If I add Memory Maker to my account, am I correct that she will need to get a PhotoPass card for her pictures and then I can link them to the Memory Maker? How does this work for ride photos? Will I have to be with her to get her family's pictures loaded? I'm a wee bit confused. If we won't be able to "share" (i.e. both of our family's pictures on one account) then we probably won't buy it.

Also, we have meals planned at Garden Grill (all of us), O'Hana (character breakfast...just her family), Tusker House (again, breakfast, just her family) and Chef Mickey's (all of us). Are any photos taken at these venues included with Memory Maker? If yes, again I need clarification on what she will need to do at the meals without me and my magic band:goodvibes.

Thanks! This really should be simple...it probably is, but I tend to overthink things:rotfl2:.

The easiest solution is for you to have them scan your Magic Band for any pictures, and give her the Memory Maker card to have scanned in case you're ever not together. I would also make sure all family members are linked in your My Disney Experience account.

We just had a trip from 5/18-5/24, and my parents are there 5/24 - 5/31, and their pictures are def. showing up from being linked to my account, but I had also given them my Memory Maker card just in case, or if it was needed for rides.

Ok, I think I get it...*my* magic band and the Memory Maker card that they issue will perform the same thing. So my MB will function the same as the MM card, which my sister will use. That seems pretty simple to me:thumbsup2. Do they scan the MB/MM card at the rides when you get off? How does that work? We always get a kick out of looking at them, and the kids always beg for us to buy them, but we never have. Now that they are included, I want to make sure we get as many as we can.

You just go to the cast member, tell them your ride photo #, and you tap Mickey to Mickey. We seriously didn't use the card the first time, but my parents have used it and their bands, and since they're linked in my friends and family, all of their photos have shown up too. I believe you would do the same thing at meals where they do the pre-meal photo.

OK, just checking I'm on the same wavelength here - anyone on my reservation can use their magic band to put photos onto my memory maker as we are all linked? Eldest DD will no doubt be doing her own thing with ride photos etc. & just need to check the logistics!!
