we leave in 5 days. plan on rebooking on board. now, do we have to book for all 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children), and give them $1000 for deposit (i assume it's $250 deposit per person, right?!). or can we just book for 1 person, thus only giving them $250, and add the rest of us later on?

fyi, we don't plan on going till 2007, so the dates won't even be out, and we only need to "randomly" pick a date for 2006, as far back as possible. cuz when the 2007 dates come out, i can transfer my ressie to the date i really want, and add the rest of the family on right???

what do you think? is that possible? thanx for any advice/info!! :flower:

You can just book one or two people, but this has some risks. First, you will only get the discount on those whom you rebook onboard. Secondly, the ship has both a total capacity and a limit in each age group. So, while there is room for 3 more people in your cabin, there may not be room for your children in their age category. In that case, DCL will not allow you to book them for those days.

Since you are planning on a 2007 date, the number of kids in the program is unlikely to be a problem. However, you might want the discount on 4 instead of only on 1.

but if you intend to transfer your reservation to a ta later...wouldn't you still get the entire thing w/a discount? on top of the $200 shipboard credit? cuz you're not really making a new reseravtion, just adding people? maybe this is not correct, and you know best! i just don't know how this all really works! again, thank you! :flower:

I think that when you are adding people you will pay the "going" rate at the time you add them on..Depending on how far out that it is, it could be significant....YOur credit would be the same, providing you only book 1 room...No additional 10% savings on ANYONE booked once you are on land.. :goodvibes

Correct....you will keep the $200 onboard credit as long as the first name on the ressie is the same. Only the people booked on board will get the 10% discount. If you change dates, you pay the current rate for those dates less the 10% of that rate for those people who rebooked on board.
