Trip: 03/06-06/06, Sequoia Lodge
Room 4226 (overlooks front lobby of hotel, refurbished, clean and comfy)

Overall, an amazing trip with no major complaints or issues. I will do a full TR when I've got over my horrid cold!

Highs
- the moment we stepped into the hotel, Minnie was there to greet us and cuddle our 2 girls. It was utter magic and my OH was very emotional!!!
- VIP breakfast - Yippee! made Soooo much difference!
- Earl of Sandwich (ate there twice....very scrummy!)
- VIP Fast Passes were amazing, felt like royalty!!!
- Amazing lunch at Rest des Stars
- Finally made it to SL swimming Pool (twice) - how fab is that??? Kids and hubby loved it
- Dreams (twice) well what can i say?? So glad I didn't watch it on Youtube!
- Despite it being my 5th trip, still managed some firsts: Moteurs Action!, Taniere du Dragon, Alice's Curious Labyrinth
- Taking smallest daughter (age 6) on RRC and BTM - total rollercoater addict now, she cried loads when she was too small for Space Mountain!
- Long opening hours (but also a minor low......)
- Lots of lovely CMs
- Smallest DD finally opening her eyes on Pirates and loving it!!
- Making it into Salon Mickey more than once!!!

Lows
- NO characters out in the parks other than queued meet n greets!!!!
- Getting lost driving there....yes really!
- Tired feet!!
- OH having a melt down after queing with smallest DD who bailed out of Crush at the last minute!
- The parade left me cold....sorry folks, just didn't feel a thing and the music doesn't make me cry like the old one did!
- Being so tired on the last day that we wandered about in a daze and didn't really do much despite not needing the leave until 5pm!!!

:cloud9:Honestly one of the best trips ever.:cloud9:

Welcome home!

Looking forward to reading your TR, sounds like you had a great trip. We loved the Sequoia pool too! We were planning on staying at the Cheyenne in December as the price was so good but the Sequoia was so lovely I think we'll be paying the extra again.

I echo every one of your lows though! I wasnt keen on the parade and we too managed to get lost on the way there so you're not the only ones! We were driving round residential bits of Marne la vallee! DH came down with a cold and was feeling terrible on the last day and Skye wound up crying her eyes out walking back to the sequoia to get the car as she was so exhausted!

Welcome back :wave2: glad you had a great time.

I'm yet to see the parade but the photos I have seen don't excite me *sigh* I guess Once Upon a Dream was a lot to live up to.

Welcome back, we love the Restaurant des Stars too & always have at least one meal there. I was too full for desserts there last week:eek:

Great to see so many highs. We got lost driving on our first few trips but have been fine the last couple of times. :goodvibes

I think it was because the first time I drove, it was completely problem free I wasn't really concentrating this time...oh well sure Brussells would have been nice for few days.....:rotfl:

Welcome back :goodvibes

So many great highs! Your dd sounds like a real thrill seeker :scared1:

I agree with the parade. I wasn't overly keen on the OUAD music to be honest, but thought the floats looked prettier than they do now. I still really miss the old floats though, steamboat willie, belle and the beast and Cinderella's carriage.

Look forward to your trip report when you're feeling better

It sounds like you had a wonderful trip, perfect start with Minnie being there to greet you! :goodvibes

All these highs about Dreams are making me giddy!!! Can't wait to read your TR!

Welcome back! :goodvibes

Glad you had a great trip & Loved the SL! :thumbsup2

Looking forward to your TR... :rolleyes1

welcome home, thanks for sharing your highs and lows - great to see lots of highs there! :yay:

Lots of people saying the same about the new parade which sounds like a bit of a shame. Glad you had a great trip overall :goodvibes
