Quick help: Spoodles or Captains Grill?

I'm looking for a restruant down by the board walk area one night. Which one, or any other one please? Are there shops and such down there? I figured it'd be nice to visit one evening.

Spoodles all the way! Best meal of our trip last week, I can't wait to go back! DH felt the Oak Fired Steak Kabobs were to die for!

Many suggest Spoodles, as well as people I know and travel with, BUT I personally like Captain's Grille better.

Perhaps you can start out on the YC/BC side at Captain's Grille and walk your way around the lake.

Or.... Spoodles is on the Boardwalk so it'll be convenient.

I prefer Captain's Grille. If you plan to spend the evening in the Epcot resort area, there are shops in each of the Epcot resorts (YC, BC, BW, Swan and Dolphin) and street performers in the BW area in the evening.

Captains Grille was the ADR we cancelled last trip - we were looking forward to trying it but were just over full from a late lunch and we were tired too. And DD and I wanted to go to Stormalong Bay which had re-opened temporarily from rehab for President's Weekend. So I can't compare the two. But I can say that we LOVE Spoodle's. It is definitely one of our favorite restaurants at WDW. The flatbread is awesome and the steak kebabs are a family favorite.

The Boardwalk is a fun place to walk around in the evening. There are shops and sometimes entertainers.

Spoodles by a long shot. It is one of our favorite places to eat at WDW.

We love Spoodles and haven't tried CG so can't comment on that.

I'm not sure when you are going, but Spoodles will be closed temporarily for dinner mid-late May so we have to miss it this trip.
