and we have 2 adults, one 5year old and one 2 year old for a total of 4, they don't ask the ages. I know my 2 year old will be free so do I include him as one of the 4 guests or do I only put 3? thanks!

Every body counts... whether they are 100 or just a few days old. So you are 4 people.

It's more for fire code safety (only allowed a specific number of bodies in the restaurant).

You must count everyone in your group. Even if you aren't paying for them.

Disney counts even the wee littlest babe when booking ADRs. You'll be a party of 4.

Our youngest isn't a paying customer but we always include her in the reservation. It has to do with fire codes and seating arrangements more than whether they are actually paying to eat or not. Include every body in your count!

I agree. Count everyone. That way you ensure you will get a table big enough to accomodate the high chairs or booster seats needed.
