QUICK help needed - Siesta Key or Ft. DeSoto for tomorrow

My DSis is in Ellenton for business this week, and she wants to go to a beach tomorrow before she heads home later that day or Sunday, I can't remember which.

She wants a beach on the Gulf and someplace to get a bite to eat. Also looking for reatively easy parking, since she won't have much time there.

At the moment, her traveling companions are leaning toward Ft. DeSoto, but Siesta Key looks really nice too.

Can anyone give me their opinions on either?

We enjoyed Fort De Soto. I have never been to Siesta Key. Have fun on your beach day.

Thanks, it sounds like her friends want to head to Ft. DeSoto.

I wish I was going too - I could use a beach day right about now, lol!
