Okay Guys. I need your help! We are taking my mom to Disney this Wed the 10th for her birthday. I called Disney Dining to make a PS for Carnation Cafe for noon, and she said they don't book for parties over 5?? We are 6 plus a high chair. We all really want to eat there.

Is walking up( and possibly waiting for a while) the only way for us to get in? Any suggestions are appreciated...

Thanks:thumbsup2

First, I would call Disney Dining back and make sure that you get the same answer twice in a row. If you do, then I think waiting in line may be the only way you can go. Maybe try eating an early or late lunch so you don't hit a peak time.

I am sure that your Mom will enjoy celebrating her birthday with you at DL no matter where you all eat.

Have a good time! I will be there that day, too, and will watching for your LGMH :thumbsup2

I did call again, and was told I can book no more than 6. We are 6 plus my toddler, so I just made the ressie and we will make it work when we get there.

I would rather be prepared and squeeze him in than loose time waiting for a table...

thanks!

It's true that they won't take a ressie for a large party. The "Girls Only" group this year ate there and we made 4 different reservations for a party of 4 and asked to be close to each other when we arrrived. It worked out fine. You could make one for 4 and one for 2 + the high chair and request adjoining tables when you arrive. They really don't have very many tables there, but will try to accomodate you the best they can. Have a great time!

That's a good idea to break up the party and ask for adjoining tables!
