Does anyone know if we are still give a 15 min. grace period past your expiration time? We have FP for Splash from 7:50-8:50 pm. Friends have their time from 9:10 to 10:10 pm (same time was not avail). If we showed up at 8pm would we have a problem? We were hoping to band in as close to our friends entrance time in hope to ride with them.

I don't believe there is a grace period anymore. We tried to arrive 5 minutes early in January to ToT and were denied. And that was in low crowd season......

Last week we were able to get in 5 minutes prior and 15 minutes after our FP window. For Elsa and Anna we arrived 10 minutes prior to our window. We were standing next to the FP entrance (not blocking it off to the side) and the CM asked what time our passes were good for. She said we didn't have to wait until 5 minutes before our window and she let us on in. Of course there was still a wait for E&A after we got thru the first FP machines. However at EE we were made to wait until 5 minutes prior. Keep in mind if the ride is closed during your window you can go back later in the day and use your FP.

I know they won't let you enter early. We were there last year and that practice stopped, but I kind of remember them allowing up to 15 minutes past your window time. I was wondering if they still do this.

Fastpass+ was till very new when we went, maybe that had something to do with it. I say go ahead and try :)

Am I missing something? If you all showed up at 8:10, you're all within your window. Actually, you guys have the same window from 8:10 until 8:50--any time within that would be fine.

This is good news! I wonder if it is at the discretion of the CM?

No the system allows this automatically. Most of our FP we arrived 5 minutes prior even 7DMT. When we were allowed into E&A early the Mickey turned blue when we held our band up then the CM did something on her computer and it turned green for us to enter.

I'm just wondering if I should enter just at my expired time and step to the side to wait for our friends (don't know if this is allowed either) so we don't chance losing our entrance, or chance trying to enter almost 15 min past our expired time and step aside to wait 5 minutes to meet up with them (again, not sure if the cm's would allow this).

Truly not liking the new system.

OOPS! Sorry wrote the wrong times down. Our friends window is 9:10 to 10:10 ours is 7:50 to 8:50.

I think it is the discretion of the CM. We had FP for for Safari in March. I was waiting for DH and DS to meet us there as they were riding Dinosaur. The line for Dinosaur was longer than expected and our FP time was almost up for Safari. I asked the CM there what would happen if they showed up after the scheduled time if they would be able to ride and he told me he would let them in as long as it wasn't too long after the expired time. They made it with a minute or two before the time was to expire.

You could be right. It would be soo much easier to have been able to book the same time. This is the case for 3 attractions for us. We were not able to get the same times or even within the same window. I keep looking in hopes something will open up, but no luck yet so I wanted another option and this is the only thing I could come up with.
