Quick Dry clothing?

I've seen several people suggest this type of clothing. Can you give me some brand names or places to get it? Does it look REALLY athletic or can some be found that looks a bit normal? I'm a big fan of skorts so I'm okay with *sort of athletic* looking.

Do they make children's clothing like this, too?

I know Target, Academy, and Sports Authority have wicking clothing. And yes there is wicking for children. I believe completely in them!

i got some stuff at target in the active wear department. it was C9 by champion and it was like collared golf tee shirts that had short sleeves and sleeveless very comfy and lightweight and works incredibly well and i dont think it looked overly athletic at alll, they have skorts and stuff too that look cute together and would work perfect for disney!

the c9 stuff at Target is good, but the fitness shirts by Landsend have sunscreen and dry quickly.

I was looking for polo style shirts too or v-neck t-shirts that are a little dressy looking that didn't have any logos on them that I could wash in the sink and hang to dry overnight. I need to wear them to a meeting but then also just out and about. If I can wash them out they would do double duty and keep the suitcase light - so important these days.

Ohhhhh Suncreen would be GREAT! I've used the RIT wash-in sunscreen before. Dark clothes are better for protection but just seem a bit hotter. Having the sunscreen built in would be wonderful. There are several companies out there that make t-shirts and other clothing that have sunscreen (not just the thick gardening-type clothing that looks funny).

Our favorite tops so far are White Sierra's line of bamboo clothes ... naturally anti-odor, UPF 30, and moisture-wicking with a casual look. They go for $13 (women's Malindi T) and $17 (men's Bamboo T) at the REI Outlet online.

FYI regarding sun protection clothing ... If you go this route, be sure the material itself is also moisture-wicking and breathable. (Manufacturers often use mesh panels for "breathability" -- these are fine for only moderate heat and humidity.)
