When we went: Thanksgiving Week 2012

Where we stayed: Art of Animation in a Lion King Suite

When we ate here: lunch, as a part of the Candlelight Processional package

What we ate: we sampled most everything from the buffet, plus a beer flight for DH

What we liked: We really enjoy the food here. I ate 3 helpings of that tomato basil salad because it is so delicious. The pretzel bread is a favorite of ours, too. My DH liked his beer flight, our table mates were very pleasant, and the entertainment was wonderful. I think that the Biergarten lunch is a great value, especially for candlelight processional.

How much did we spend? $135.75 OOP, excluding tip. It was the least expensive option of the CP packages.

What we didn't like: the only small complaint came from my DH. He was missing a few items that we normally get when we go at dinner time that are not on the lunch buffet.

Will we go back? Oh, yes...but there are other places I'd like to try first.

Thanks a lot! Biergarten doesn't get a lot of reviews that I see. I usually have to depend on Yelp. We are looking forward to the German band. We live a stone throws away from Wisconsin and know all the beer house songs.

remlover, you will fit right in! I hope you enjoy Biergarten as much as we do.

we love Biergarten too..
Usually we go for the dinner and I loved their potato leek soup...it was so good and the man that was sitting at our table...said GET SOME OF THIS..so I did...otherwise I may of not tried it...delishish..

We can pretty much go with the whole family and everyone gets somethign they will eat and like..
Our favorite for dessert was the cheesecake and the vanilla topping on top of the apple struedel ...that was so good...my favorite

Thanks a lot. The last time I was at Disney was 24 years ago. I went w/ my family to the Biergarten and it was dead empty, except us and another family. So glad they spiced it up with a German band. I also like the seating arrangement idea where you sit next to complete strangers. Good chance to meet new people.

Oh good..we have dinner ADRs there for our April trip. You sold me on pretzel bread. Pretzel bread is a HUGE hit at this house. We have a Swiss baker in the next town who makes some to die for. I am now so looking forward to this!
