Just got back from WDW and thought I'd write up a quick dining review while it was fresh in my mind:
Oct 1-
Lunch at Biergarten=was pretty impressed. There's a large selection of food, really something for everyone. It's fresh and tasty. Really liked this buffet. Although I was disappointed I didn't get to see the performers. Our lunch was for 12pm and the performance didn't start until 1:15. We were done eating at about 1pm.
Oct 2-
Late breakfast at CM-really, really disappointed in the food here. Character interaction was good, but the food stunk. We've always gone to CP and the food at CM was not nearly as good. There was minimal selection too compared to CP. Next time we'll go back to CP. The setting at CP is so much more beautiful too.
Oct 3-
Dinner at WCC. Good food, fun service. There were some fun things for the kids to do there too. WL is beautiful!
Oct 4-
Dinner at The Wave. The Salmon and Clam and Rock Shrimp linguine were excellent! DH was not too impressed with his steak though. I got the sugar free dessert trio and it was perfect. You'd never know it was sugar free.
Oct 5th-
Askershus late breakfast. Food was ok. Standard breakfast fare with some herring and smoked salmon thrown in. Service was horrible. Our waitress left the next table's stack of dirty dishes on our table for about 5 minutes while she took care of our check. Gross. She was obviously overwhelmed with her waitressing duties. We did see all the princesses (Cindy, Belle, Ariel, Aurora, SW) pretty quickly. And I do like the fact that you get a portrait with your meal.
Dinner at Le Cellier-By far the best meal of the trip. My Fillet Mignon was AMAZING. Like butter. And maple creme brule was great too. And by far the best service here as well. Ali was our server and she was top notch. Perfect!
Oct 6th-
Dinner at Ohana-Although I loved the shrimp and the dessert I was very disappointed here. I haven't eaten here since the menu changed and I don't think the new changes are very good. I use to love their fried won-tons, maui scalloped potatoes, and green dipping sauce. The new stand ins are just not as good (IMO) but I know there are plenty of people who do like the new menu. Just not for me. And of course the dessert is AMAZING! And I love the shrimp too-best shrimp I've ever had.
Well that's it. LMK if you have any questions! (no pictures, sorry)
