Quick Costco question

I was going to go join Costco today, but after reading the brouchure, it says they only except cash, checks, Costco credit card or AMEX. Is this true???? Do they really not accept Visa????

They do offer a free AMEX

I'm not 100% certain on this as I'm not a member. However, I remember my sister complaining about it - after she joined - but she decided that getting their AmEx card made up for the inconvenience as she gets back a percentage of her purchases the next year.

I use my Visa bank card there all the time. Everytime! I've never used cash or a credit card there.

Only credit cards they take are Am Ex and the Costco card

This is why I love BJs..that and they accept coupons

Debit cards are not handled the same as credit cards

Wow, you guys are quick! I just called Costco and you're right! They only accept Visa if it's debit. I knew I liked BJ's better! But when we moved, we moved closer to Costco and further from BJ's
