Quick/Cheap get away suggestions

We live in KS and want to go somewhere for the weekend. We arent opposed to driving a little ways (4-5 hours) We live about an 30 min south of Topeka. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go that would be cheap?

This is just a get a way trip...........we dont really need entertainment. As long as there is a pool the kids will be happy. Thanks for your help.

Not sure exactly how far this would be for you but what about Omaha, Nebraska? They have a GREAT zoo and plenty of hotels with pools. We stayed at the Holiday Inn there several years ago and they had a fun pool. My guess is there is some hotel there with an indoor waterpark now.
