Hi, I have a quick and hopefully easy question to any seasoned pro. What are (if any) reputable cab companies in Orlando and can anyone chime in on how much a cab ride would cost from Universal Studios to seaworld? Ok sorry. That was two. :) Thanks in advance.

Are you staying onsite? If so, there is free transportation to SeaWorld. There is a bus that leaves in the morning and will bring you back late afternoon.

I think there is a thread I read about this somewhere here, since I had the same question for our week after Turkey Day trip.

From what I remember, the shuttle from the onsite hotels runs to all three hotels and can get crowded and if there is a late show at SW that night, sometimes the shuttles don't run that late. So some people opt for the cab ride for the freedom of it. I think it was $20, but I don't know if that was one way or both. I'm sure the staff at the hotel where you're staying can give you definitive ride costs between popular locations.

There are always cabs parks outside these hotels looking for riders, I don't think any of them have ever been of ill repute. We've never had any issues.

Yes, staying on property. We're just looking for a little more freedom than the shuttles can offer. thanks a bunch.

Ironically enough, I just called the hotel I'm staying at a few hours ago with cab questions, but mine was about from the airport to the hotel. They told me that was about $40, so I think others are about right with $20. I think shuttles are your best bet though if you're on a tight budget like I'll be on this trip.

When we were there last year there were plenty of cabs outside our resort (HRH) as well as outside SeaWorld. They were all the same company but I'm not sure of the name. The price was around $20. (We went to SW and DC and the prices ranged from $19-$23, can't remember what was what). We are a family of 5 and had to request a van so we could all have seat belts, but that didn't change the price. We did take the free shuttle to SW one day, but overall we didn't find the times convenient for us and preferred the cab.

Our cab was 25-26 each way. We lucked out and were able to find people to share with 2 of our three cab rides.

We used the shuttle once...never again...too crowded and annoying, In our opinion.

If you dont mind a bit of a walk (about 15-20 mins) you could always walk over to I-Drive and get the I-Ride Trolley or Lynx bus. That will take you to Seaworld, and a lot of other places for $1.50 each.
