I shall post some piccies another time, but thought I would give you a brief run down of our trip.
There was myself (30) and my hubby (28) who went. We fly out Thursday night from Luton with Easyjet, now Easyjet are known for delays and low and behold we were delayed an hour and 15mins. We eventually reached CDG Airport at around 11.15pm, should have gotten there at 9.30pm. We used the RER to get from the airport to the Formule 1 Hotel in Noisy Champs, was very easy, cost less than 20 for the two of us for a single trip. We figured that as we flew in so late we didn't want to waste money staying at Disney for that night. Unfortunately the Forumle 1 Hotels don't have any air con so it was a very hot and sticky night.
The next two nights we stayed at Disney's Hotel Cheyene (sp?). We booked room only via Expedia about a week before we went. We liked this hotel, good theme and only 10 minutes walk to Disney which was very handy when the buses were full to sardine level.
The breakfast was ok, nothing to shout about, but it was free so thats good enough for me. The one thing I would say is check in as soon as you can, we waited til 3pm as were told we couldn't check in before then only to find that most of the breakfast slots had gone, we had to plump for 10.30 on the Saturday and 7.30 on the Sunday. Although we did manage to persuade them to let us in at 8.30am on the Saturday, so that was good.
The rooms are a good size, we had a double bed and a bunk bed in our room so they would be fantastic for a family and with the cowboy theme, it works well.
We found the Disneyland Parc to be fairly quite on the Friday and managed to do alot of rides so was pleased about that, we didnt have to wait no longer than around 20 - 30 mins for a ride. We upgraded our 2 day park hoppers to annual passes and was pleased to get the full face value of the ticket back, thought we would only get a one day refunded back as that is what I had read but nope we got the full 92 that we paid.
We did the Studio Park on the Saturday morning and it was really quiet and we managed to do everything and I mean everything by 2pm.
Unfortunately the rudeness of the French got to me by the Sunday afternoon and I had really had enough and wanted to go home, even some of the Cast Members were rude and didn't bother to acknowledge us.
On our last day we took advantage of the luggage room at the hotel and they stored our luggage for free which was great. We also used the VEA shuttle to get back to the airport, cost us 32 for the two of us, for the conveience it wasn't too bad price wise I thought.
Again our flight was delayed going home, were supposed to get home at 10.25 but arrived back around 11pm.
All in all was a good short break!!
