Quick AP renewal question

I'm so sorry to start a new thread on this, but given the time frame to receive current pricing (today being the last day!), I need a quick answer from the experts. I have read so many posts about only being able to renew within 30 days before or after your AP expires. I copied and pasted what the AP site tells me re renewing:

For Passholder convenience, Passes can be renewed 60 days before and 30 days after the expiration date located on the pass.

So....by that quote, it seems I can renew now. My pass expires on 10-3-10. I'd like to renew now and receive the 15 month offer which I know ends on 8-31-10. Is this possible? I've gone thru all the steps online and it does not tell me anywhere about my new expiration date, so I hate to take the chance. And I know by calling the AP line, I will get conflicting info. So I'm here knowing that you experts will have an answer for me. Thanks!!

Lots of conflicting posts on this.

However, nobody has actually been able to DO the 60 days in advance deal that I've read.

There is a major school of thought among the
experienced ticket posters here that the "60 days in advance" info is a mistake.

Yeah I have searched and read all threads on this topic, I think, and that is what is causing my confusion (conflicting info....). Thanks for replying to my post -- I think I'll give the AP line a call and see what kind of info I get.

I just renewed our passes outside of the 30 day window. I had to call 4 times before I found someone who would renew the pass, and confirm that it would be valid for 15 months. When I received the vouchers in the mail (I did not do it online), a letter came along with the vouchers stating they were valid for 15 months. My AP expires 9/17, and I renewed last week, so that was roughly 45 days or so early.

Oooh this gives me hope since you were in the same situation as me. I did just talk to the AP line and was told I could go ahead and renew online (because she could only renew me 30 days out, she said, but online could renew me 60 days out....), and then she said to follow up with an email to disney asking them for the 15 month offer. I have my doubts this will work. Maybe I should call back.....but I was on hold forever and I hate to do that again.

OP here -- I just wanted to update my own thread and say that I ended up renewing my AP's online so that I could renew at 60 days out. I got all my paperwork today and the AP's will be good for 15 months from my expiration date, Oct 3! So everything worked perfectly ~ I renewed before the price increase and got the 15 month offer.

Thanks for the good information....

What telephone number do you use to renew AP's....

I called the AP line, which is listed on the AP website, but the CM told me I could not renew more than 30 days before my AP's expire. So I renewed my AP's online, right on the AP site, because it said I can renew 60 days before my AP's expire. It worked like a charm, no problems at all.

I have a question along this same line. We are going to DW Nov.14-20 and our passes expire the end of December. We are doing a package and will have a 2 day ticket to apply to the price of our annual pass. Do you think guest services will be able to renew our passes earlier than the 30 days?
Thanks for any help.

I don't know the answer to this for sure, but I think the official rule is you can renew 30 days before and up to 30 days after your AP expires. However, the AP site lets you renew 60 days before expiration. There is a lot of conflicting info, so I'm not sure what to tell you.
