I just made $80. on various little items that were cluttering my girls' rooms!! I love Ebay!! At a garage sale, I would have been lucky to get $15. for the entire lot!!

I keep thinking of new ways to spend more money at WDW (wait...isn't this supposed to be the BUDGET BOARD?! :rotfl2: )

Thanks for all of the great Ebay tips-I started playing with it in June, and now have a 100% feedback (knock on wood...) of 97 and have made (saved) well over $2000-much of it to be used for our trip to WDW!!! :cool1:
I've also been able to pay for my daughters' swimming lessons at a private indoor pool, pay for a big birthday party and buy DH an Ipod mini with a bunch of the extras for his birthday!! :cool1:

I work 25-30 hrs. per week, so all of this extra Ebay money has been just that, extra money!! :flower:

That's so great!

What kind of things did you sell?

I know how to do ebay and have sold kids clothes but never anything else, although I have a lot of "stuff". I can't imagine anyone would want it, let alone pay for it. I would LOVE to make some extra money.

I just had a GREAT ebay night too. I had some airfare credits that need to be used I wasn't going to use. I've been listing them weekly and they've been going within hours of listing BIN for almost the credit price. This has definetly helped w/ my Christmas shopping. The one tonight will let me finish up DS and even treat myself to a new holiday outfit too. So now I've got to find time tomorrow to shop alittle.

You will be suprised at what people will buy. I had a rare black Mickey head atenna topper from Disney Quest...I paid $6.00 for it. I never used it so it was mint.

I put it up on ebay, hoping to get like $8.00 for it. Their was a big bidding war just before the auction ended and I got $103.00 for it!!! Can you believe that!!!

So go through your stuff, take a look at ebay and see if you can find it already listed and what it is going for. Good luck.

Wow, Christy - that's outstanding!

I take quite a few things to consign at the thrift shop here on post (we live on an Army base), but always check eBay first to make sure I couldn't get a better price that way. I was planning to get rid of a discontinued toy of my DD's recently - I was planning to consign it for $10, or so, at the thrift shop, but found it was selling well on eBay. I went that route and got $55 for it! That's over twice what I paid for it originally. Ya' just never know! :cool1:

Those discontinued toys are amazing!! I once bought a WDW toy with the little figures (kind of like Polly Pocket, but smaller) from a garage sale for $5.00. The toy was NEW, in an unopened box. It sold for $81.00!!!! :cool1:

Last night I was selling off small lots of Fisher Price/Little Tikes dollhouse furniture. My DDs are 9 & 6 and have decided they're done with their dollhouse. The dollhouse itself is so darn big that I can't find a box to ship it in, so I'll save that for a garage sale.

I love to read things like this, just keep posting, and I'll keep reading it is so inspirational.....by the way, ekmdisney how long did you keep the mickey antenna topper before you sold it.

You could sell the dollhouse on E-bay too, just say local pickup only. You could probably make a good amount off of it as a Christmas gift and the buyer won't have to worry about shipping time.

That is a good question. I know I got just around the time the toppers became the thing to have on your car...so what, three years.

Now I'm not saying that that is what you will get for all the toppers ever released, I have two others that I can't sell at all.

The goofy, stitch and tigger toppers sell pretty well too...I got almost $50.00 bucks for one of those. But they were also mint, still in their packaging.
