Quick ? about fireworks & Grand Floridian

Is there any place at the Grand Floridian that pipes in the music from the MK fireworks? DH and I were thinking of eating dinner at Citricos, but wanted to watch the fireworks from the GF as well, but weren't sure if they did this. We know we could just eat at the CA Grill, or walk to the Poly from GF, but it would be easier if there was someplace right there to watch. TIA!

You can see them really well from the dock by Narcoossee's, however I dont think they pipe in the music there...

That's good to know! Can anyone watch from there, or just people eating at Narcoosees? If that's the case, we'll make our ADR there instead of Citricos.

Anyone can watch from the dock, you don't need to be eating at the Restaurant. We did this a yea or so ago, the view was very good, although I really prefer to watch the fireworks on the beach at the Poly.

Yes. We happened on it by accident. There are speakers in the grassy areas along the deck walkway to the boat dock. We sat on the grass and enjoyed it with the diners eating at Narcoosees.

Now, Narcoosees shouldn't be a bad place to watch it if you can get a table with a view. They also have a door that opens to an outdoor viewing area (but I can't recall whether they have outdoor seating).

The music is piped in at both the dock near Narcoossee's and the larger courtyard area near Gasparilla's. The dock is not exclusive to Narcoossee's but is also not a really large area. The courtyard is bigger.

Personally, I wouldn't go on the grassy area. There are ropes that mark it off. It's not a large area and could be intrusive to the folks who have rooms right there.

Re: Narcoossee's or Citricos. We've eaten at both many times and enjoy them both. But I would decide based on the menu. It's easy to go outside after dinner to see Wishes.

I agree about not going into roped off areas. I just don't remember them being near the boat dock.
