Quick ? about Disney Dining Experience (discount card)

I see that the Disney Dining Experience discount cards can be used for a bunch of restaurants where you get 20% of the tab.

A lot of the restaurants it can be used at are places that have character meals. Does that mean I can use it at character meals?

If so, as a FL resident, I might consider getting it. Thanks!

We get the DDE every year, it more than pays for itself!

DH and I are heading down to CBR with our AP and I am seriously considering getting the DDE.

If you hold an AP as a Resident, get it under your AP not resident status - it's cheaper that way
