I have a question about the kids menu at the Carnation Cafe. It's probably been asked before, and I tried to search for the answer but the search thing wasn't working. :headache:

Anyways, we have a dinner reservation there and after showing the online menu to the kids they all want to order something from the kids menu. Trouble is, it says the kids menu says it's only for ages 3-9, and two of my kids are over that. (ages 11 and 13)
But they still have little kid tastes, LOL, and couldn't find anything they'd like on the adult menu.

So does anyone know if they can still order from the kids menu? Because if not, I might just cancel the reservation as there just isn't anything else they'll eat.

Thanks in advance for your help!! :)

Beth, I'm sure you'll be OK with them ordering off the kids' menu. Cassidy does and she's 11. Hope we get to see each other this weekend!!! YAY! Almost Disney time!! :)

My kids were 10 and 12 on our last trip. And at several places I ordered them kids meals. If its a character buffet, I always pay the adult price for them because I figure we are paying for the entertainment factor in addition to the food. However, when we are at a place that is non buffet, if the kids selections appeal to them, thats what we order. My 11 year old dd in particular cannot eat adult portions and still likes her chicken fingers and hot dogs. They are getting a kids portion for a kids price. I have never had a problem doing this at DL or WDW for that matter.

I hope so too!! Yes, almost time!! I haven't even packed yet. With the stomach bug that was here last week, I was hesitant to do anything. But so far this week everyone's been fine so I think we are good to go!!

Thanks for that info. I was hoping it would be ok, but wanted to see if others had done this before without issue.

Thanks again!
