does anyone know what the queueing times are like for the time of year we go to wdw. 10th - 24th nov.

say for the most popular rides and the least popular rides. obviously i know you wont be able to tell me that it took 46.1 minutes to get onto tot. :rotfl:

also does universal get as busy as wdw?

thanks

i don't know, but if the lines are long, use FPs on the attractions where they're available and get to the park for opening...
a guy i work with just returned from a month in Florida (actually 3 weeks in Orlando and a one week cruise)..
i happened to ask him yesterday how the lines were and he said they were long, which surprised me since it was October....he said all the lines were at least 30 to 40 minutes long, so they had to use FPs on all the FP attractions...

having said that, i'm willing to bet that they don't get to the parks at opening (since they have an 8 year old, a 4 year old and a 4 month old)...
the trick is always to get to the parks before opening, since you can usually get a great deal done in the first two hours....even during peak times...

but looking again at the dates you mentioned...i would think that the first week of your visit should be light....we were there in september and the lines weren't bad at all...but still....this guy had long lines in october, so i don't know......

October is no longer guaranteed to be a slow time for a number of reasons, but due largely to the very popular International Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. It's now been extended into the first two weeks of November, so that period could potentially be busier than it has been traditionally.

Thanksgiving is the fourth Thursday in November and the period around that will be exceptionally busy. I'm guessing you will find your first week is very quiet (i.e. walk-ons for all but the most popular rides), but that it might start to get busier towards the end of your trip.

The trick at any time is to avoid EMH days at all costs - it can make a huge difference. We've often been at WDW at exactly the same time as others on these boards who experienced heavy crowds when we've found them to be light! We once made the mistake of visiting MK on an early entry day and we couldn't believe the size of the crowds - it was a slow time of year (October 1998 - I remember because it was younger dd's 11th birthday which is why we went there) and I have never (before or since) experienced crowds like it.

The Universal parks do get as busy as WDW in my experience.

Apparently the first two weeks of October were really crowded this year. I have heard from some people that some parks were just packed. One Epcot guest even reported a 210 minute wait for Soarin', and many others have reported 1.5-2 hour waits for many of the main attractions. Unusual for October! But i think there are alot of people taking the kids out of school to go down during October. I know at least 4-5 families just here who went down to go to MNNSHP and took their kids out of school for nearly 2 weeks.
