has anyone ever stayed in either of these rooms...and if so, just a couple of questions:
1. do these rooms have the pull down bunks???
2. are these staterooms in a good location and what are they near??
3. how's the motion????? little nervous about this....our first cruise

any info would be appreciated...
thanks again!

Staterooms 7618 and 7616 do not have top bunks, according to a very old DCL brochure that I have. That means they should sleep 3, not 4. (The old brochure has a deck plan which indicates rooms with capacity of 4 or 5. Disclaimer: They eliminated this information in later brochures, and there is no guarantee that this information is still accurate.)

They are next to each other, but they do not have a connecting door.

The location is near the aft stairs and aft elevator, so the location provides easy access to the dining rooms, topsiders, Palo, the Mickey pool, the drink station, and anything else that's aft. But, really, there's no bad location on the ship. It is, after all, a ship, not a city, so you can be anywhere in a few minutes.

We stayed in 7612 on the Wonder a couple of years ago. I would say this is a good location. You are close to the "secret deck" on the back of the ship. Look for the door at the end of the hall. We had absolutely no problems with any motion. This was in December of 2001. If I remember correctly, the laundry room is fairly close, down the hall toward midship; but certainly not close enough to bother you with any extra noise.

thanks for the info...we're a party 6, so I was hoping I could put 4 teenagers in one room and have the other for DH and me. I've read about this secret deck....Hope it's still a secret when I get there! It sounds like a great spot, and hoping I won't have to visit the laundry room!
