So I want to try and make my own for my kids...unfortunatley I am under a time crunch (less then 3 weeks - yikes!)... When you guys do your own... do you do them for all the character or just different images fro Disney... I am so behind and we don't plan on getting all character signatures, but would like my kids to have something to get some...Also, I would like to be able to add my kids pictures after the fact, how do you take that into consideration? And where is the best place to get them printed or made?

Thanks!

So I found the thread about making them:) But one more question...If I get them printed as pictures and keep them loose, will that make it easier to scrapbook with instead of having them bound?

Yes, it will. Get a small photo album and slip the autograph card pictures in it in alphabetical order (so they are easier to find in a hurry). Be sure to "Disneyfy" the front of the album with stickers, etc. :goodvibes

MusicMouse,

I was checking out your autograph book on artscow, it is AWESOME!!! I immediately started one of my own to practice but I have a few questions. How did you do different backgrounds on the same page? Were you able to insert clip are and how? I noticed the autograph cards are some of those posted here. I already had a folder saved with similar cards, I cropped them to fit the area how did the look when you printed the book?

Thanks for all of your help!

if time is a big problem - get index cards & have the characters sign them (zip lock bag to carry them all in)
then when you get home make the pages that you got autographs for

you also don't have to carry the book around all day

I was in the same situation last year -
I found great ideas - and didn't know what to do.

I ended up printing autograph cards for all of the Character meals we went to
and a few extras I thought we might see.

anyone extra signed an index card.

I kept the pictures in a small 4x6 album (around $1) - only holds about 20 cards.

I only worried about the characters we were going to see at meals.

I pre-made all of my pages in Photoshop Elements 8 using digital scrapboking techniques and then uploaded them. The finished printed book looked great! Come over to the Autograph Book thread, I have been discussing it off and on for the last couple weeks. :goodvibes
