I know that Birthday Buttons (pins) are available, can anyone tell me where to get one for my dd3?

Is there any way to arrange for balloons for the children (5 in total) to be waiting in the rooms after check in? I think they would go *love* it as this is the BIG family trip. I am unsure about what we can have done as we are staying at ASMo.

Also, we are going in October and will most likely opt to go to Mickey's Not So Scarey Halloween Party...should we bring costumes for the kids?

We are basically looking for any way to make a little birthday fuss over my dd3 (turning 4 the following week) while at the world BUT including some special "perks" for the other children in our group as well.

I would also like to know some information about the birthday and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Pary.

We were just there in February for my DD's bday! It was great. Just go to Guest Relations at each park and ask for the button. Have her wear it all day, everyday! She will get soooo many "Happy Birthdays"! My DD received free desserts, a bottle topper, a pin from a CM, etc. She loved it!

As far as the balloons; I don't know about getting them for all the children, but I told Central Reservations it was my DD's bday and they noted it on the reservation. I also let the CM checking us in it was her bday and they sent balloons and an autographed pic of Mickey and the gang the next day. You could call the hotel directly a couple of days prior to arrival and let them know. In the past when we have been there for my DD's bday, the hotel sent bags for both kids. They received balloons, autograph books, pictures, disposable cameras, etc. Just depends on the CM arranging it, I guess. Just let everyone know it is her bday and they will take care of you!

Also, for the MNSSHP; we were there several years ago. Did not bring a costume as we were flying. Bought DD the annual MNSSHP T-shirt and had her face painted at AK. That was enough for her (she was 8 at the time). If you have room, bring the costumes with you. You will see the most incredible costumes there; adults and children!
