Hi we have not been to unoversal in about 10 years! We are thinking of going next year. I have alot of questions, hopingsomeone can help. Thanks in advance!

1) Do the hotels offer discounts like pin codes?

2) What is the best choice as a resort hotel?

3) Do they offer transportaion within like Disney?

4) Do they have a dining plan?

5) Can I pay a deposit then pay the balance at 45 days?

Trying to compare it to all of the reasons we enjoy Disney! Still LOVE Disney just wanted to change it up!!!!

Good Morning! I am not an expert but have stayed onsite a few times.
1. Hotels have discounts for AAA, APs, etc. Some on this site receive pin codes periodically.
2. I have stayed at RPR and it is gorgeous and great for kids. I leave for HRH tomorrow (yea!) and I have heard it's great for teens. PBR is most upscale and I have read that it is the most quiet and adult.
3. Unlike Disney, each hotel is close enough to WALK to the parks but they also have water taxis if you want.
4. No dining plan, but have meal deal in the parks.
5. I paid deposit and then balance at check out. I don't know all paying options.

1. They offer discounts for AAA, AP, and FL Residents. They have started to send out emails with PIN codes, I know PBH got one for this summer.

2. All the hotels are great and each offer something different. We have stayed at the RPH out last few stays but next time I might go over to the PBH since they have larger rooms. HRH and PBH have slides at the pool where RPH has a boat for the kids to play on. RPH is the lesast ex*****ve of the 3 and PBH has the largest rooms, but the furthest walk. Depending on what you are looking for in a resort would determine which hotel is best for you.

3. They have boats that can take you to the park, there are also Pedi Cabs for tips and then you can use your own two legs for walking . Everything is right there so that is nice, you don't have to worry about catching busses to get to dinner.

4. No dining plans like Disney, and the Meal Deal is not for everyone. You can only use it in the parks, and only at certain resturants.

5. You play 1 nights deposit up front for the hotel and then you can ask for a supervisor to email you a credit card authorization form so you can pay off your trip in advance. We like to do this so we have everything pretty much paid for prior to leaving.

Not sure about the pin codes, but I am sure they are starting to.

I personally like Hard Rock better than all of them. It is the closest to the parks and we always walk there.

Boats and walking, depending on where you are staying for walking.

4) Do they have a dining plan?
No, but they have meal plan.

when you book, you only have to pay for a one night stay w/ cc.

you pay the remainder of the charges when you check out of the hotel.
