Anyone know the discount available for Park tickets to DVC members? Also, I just bought today but my friend is considering and I am referring her to my sales agent. Does the DVC offer a referral award?

There is no discount on daily theme park tickets. Members do get a discount on Annual Passes.

Members receive $100 off the price of a regular WDW annual Pass and $125 off a premium WDW annual pass. There is not discount on Magic your way or the new Premium annual pass that can be used at WDW and Disneyland.

As to your referral reward, it depends upon your state of residence, about 1/2 the states allow a referral reward, and about half don't.

If you go into the DVC member website, under Member Perks, there is a link called "Refer a Friend". Some states allow you to receive renumeration for referring a friend and others have restrictions and others do not permit you get any gift or renumeration. We live in Texas and even if we refer someone, we get nothing in return.

Here's the eligible state list:

"Eligible Jurisdiction" is any jurisdiction that permits rewarding Members for their participation in the Program. Current Eligible Jurisdictions are: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Wisconsin.

Some of these might have some restrictions on the number of referrals per year, but the legal restrictions can be found on the website as well.

Since we cannot get a referral reward, I don't know the amount of the reward, but I do remember seeing some posts that the first referral was one figure and the second more and third even more. I know other Disboard members will be posting more details soon.
