Ok, I was looking at the Disneyland Paris website to try to see about how much a trip might cost, but their site is a bit lacking in information, such as:

How would I go about getting the cost for a room with a King Sized bed? I would most likely want to stay onsite.

How do the half board plans work?

What is included with the free breakfast that their resorts offer?

How do you get from the hotel to the parks?

I think King Bed rooms are the same price where offered. (We got one without asking or paying more at Sequoia Lodge). I know nothing about offsite hotels though.

HB meals plans are great, have a look in the stickies as it is probably the most asked question on here and has been answered a million times all over this board! I can't reccomend the HB Premium enough!!

Breakfast depends on which resort you're at. Sant Fe and Cheyenne arfe most basic (but I don't know what they offer). Then Sequoia Lodge and Newport Bay have fresh fruit, croissant and pastries, bread, cheeses, meats, cereals, youghurts.

Hotel New York and the Disneyland Hotel :cloud9: offer all of the above, plus Hot Breakfast items, and lots of yummy extra pastries!

All of the onsite hotels you can walk. SF & Cheyenne are about 15 Mins, NPB about 12, SL about 10, Hotel NY about 8 and DLH in on Mainstreet, I timed it and from leaving our room door we were in the park in 2 minutes!

Offise hotels provide buses.

Hi,

1) Disney don't offer different sized beds -I'm not sure exctly what size they do offer, but it's definitely not a king size.

Most hotels provide rooms with two "double" beds (I think they're standard double beds but could be wrong), although the Cheyenne and certain rooms in the Santa Fe offer one double bed and a set of bunk beds. There are also family rooms which you can book (they cost a lot more though) which contain two double beds, plus a sofa style bed.

2) The half board plans provide you with 1 voucher for every night of your stay That voucher can then be used towards the cost of your meal at any restaurant.

Each table service / buffet restuarant belongs to a "level" of half boawrd. If you have that level or above, then you can use you voucher to pay for the whole meal (regardless of its cost), so long as you select from the half board set menu (if it is a table service).

If the restaurant belongs to a higher level than you have or you wish to dine from the a la carte menu rather than the set menu, then you use your half board as part payment - you get the value of the half board voucher discounted from your bill and then pay the rest.

3) The breakfast varies from hotel to hotel, but I blieve it is roughly as follows:

At Santa Fe and Cheyenne, you mainly get cereals and rolls / breads / croissants etc.

At Sequoia Lodge and Newport Bay, you get the above, plus they add in some cold meat type food.

At New York, you get all of the above, plus they add in a cooked breakfast with sausages, potatoes, bacon, tomatoes etc.

At the Disneyland Hotel, you get all of the above, plus they add in pancakes.

Drinks are basically the same at all hotels I believe - fruit juice, tea, coffee, milk and water.

4) All hotels (apart from the Disneyland) offer a free shuttle bus which takes you to the park. If you would rather walk, then it is a fairly short walk (not sure exactly how long but I'd guess about 20 from The Santa Fe or Cheyenne, 10 from the Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay and New York and of course pretty much 0 from the Disneyland.

For all hotels except the Disneyland, this walk is a pleasent walk through the village.

Hope this helps :goodvibes

DLP most defo do rooms with king size beds. We know because DH and I slept in the most massive bed ever in the SQL last sept.

It was DH 40th Birthday and we had booked a standard room, when we opened our door we found ourself in a junior suite (2x size of standard room) with one massive bed bigger than our king at home sofas and a very large 6 seater dining table. The upgrade was free. I am certain that there are a small number of standard king rooms in most disney hotels

If you book over the phone you can ask for one bed or a standard room with two beds.

When we booked the Hotel New York, my sister-in-law and her son were asked if they wanted one bed or two, as there were only two of them in the room.

Just checked the official Disneyland Brochure for Hotel New York:

'With either one large double bed or two double beds'

I think it will be the same in most on site hotels.

Hi, we usually stay at the Cheyenne they offer for breakfast, cereals, croissants, yogurts, cheese, cold meats and if the toaster is working toast. they also do fruit. I would recommend getting an early breakfast if you can because it gets quit busy.
It takes about 5 mins on the free shuttle bus or we prefer to walk it takes us about 15 mins its a lovely walk past lake Disney and through the Disney Village. I think the bed size at the Cheyenne is a double but they are nice and roomy and comfortable.

Cheyenne July 2006
Cheyenne June 2007
Cheyenne Sept 2008
Still planning 2009
