Why do they ask you if you have ever been to WDW before and if you have been since 2000? Does this affect your chance of getting ADR's? Also, they ask if you are on the DDP or not - does this affect your chances of getting a ressie? :confused3

I don't know. That's an interesting point. They do have data on when you last stayed at one of the resorts, but not when you've been to WDW. We stayed at the Yacht Club last August and the CM said "You haven't been here for a couple of years." He was wrong--we had just stayed offsite. I think it's a way of figuring out whether your a resort guest.

Neither affect your chances of getting an ADR. I suspect they want to know if you've been to WDW before for marketing purposes. They want to know if you have the Dining Plan so that they can give a heads-up to the server, so the server can help you understand what is and isn't included on the plan.

I think it's just data collection. When I registered at Disney's website years ago I was asked when I last went to WDW and was able to update that last month. The Dining CM also asked when I made ADR's recently. I highly doubt that our answers affect our experiences in any way - at least, not negatively: since updating my information online, Disney has been sending e-mails with park information and such, making me hope that I'm now on their "radar" for future offers. :)
