My family has rented points @ BC Oct 16 - 25 and had a few questions that I hope the collective DISBoards brain will know. First, how does buying the park tickets work. If I've researched correctly, you can't add a ticket to a res till you arrive there. Can you buy the tickets at the check in desk? Second, I know not much info on the next gen is out for DVC owners/renters but any idea how the Magic Bands and FP+ will work? I'm sure I'll have revisit this question in the future so I may have to bump it in a couple months. Thanks for any help

Yes, Theme Park admission may be purchased when you arrive at the resort. You may also purchase in advance from a discounter like Undercover Tourist and have those passes added to your room id or other media available.

At this time, I'm not sure we have enough concrete information about how the Magic Bands and FP+ will work for DVC reservations, but am confident you will have access to whatever is available to DVC Members for your stay.

Enjoy your stay! :)

The use of Fastpass+ is going to be based on having a ticket to book it, not necessarily a reservation.

Guests going to the parks, that are not staying with Disney will have equal access. This is a ticket/park situation not a reservation one.

At this time unless something changes, you will need a ticket in hand to book Fastpass+ in advance of your arrival.

So if I buy tickets at a local Disney store, AAA, or through Undercover Tourist that can be used to access to the FP+?
