questions regarding intimate weddings...

How did you get Randy Chapman to do your intimate photos? I know that Disney includes 2 hours, but I want more than just 12 pictures. How did you get the Illuminations party?

We're having Randy for our intimate. I had heard tons of rave reviews, and loved his pics, so it's worth the extra cost to me (around 500 I think). To get Randy you just have to call or e-mail him, here's his Website. We actually decided to meet with him in person, and look some more at his work. He's very friendly and helpful, and his pics are incredable. I've heard Disney usually offers a Honeymoon shoot, if you use an outside photographer, but I haven't asked yet.

As for Illuminations, you book that through your EM, and you can't have outside photography for that as far as I know.

with Disney you can pay before your wedding to get more pictures. It is actually cheaper to purchase the proofs before the wedding from Disney than after. I know the Disney photography is included in the package, but when we put all the figures down on pen and paper it turned out that Chapman would actually be cheaper when it came to actually getting all our pictures, the negatives, and black and white pictures.

When I mentioned to DPS about proofs they said that proofs are the same price before or after the wedding...that it makes no difference. In fact they were rather snooty about me asking! It seems that things must have changed.
