Questions regarding a May Trip

So I'm thinking about an early May 2017 trip and I'm wondering from others who have gone in may, what are the crowds like, weather and cost. We've always gone in fall, September or October so I'm not sure how everything is in spring.

My son was married in EPCOT the first weekend in May 2014. Unfortunately, the garden wedding had to be moved to the American Pavillon due to heavy rain. Other than the day of the wedding, our weather was beautiful. It was warm, but not stifling. The parks were busy but we were able to ride everything we wanted plus see many of the shows we had missed in the past. Our accommodations at the Beach Club were discounted as members of the wedding party, but I believe there should be some deals available for that time. Other awesome experts on this board can speak to costs far better than I. Highly recommend a Disney trip in May especially to enjoy the gorgeous Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT.

We went the first week of May a few years ago. The weather was hotter than I expected but manageable. Crowds weren't too bad. I enjoyed the garden show in Epcot. I got a great deal renting DVC points but I'm not sure about the resort discounts that time of year.

We went to WDW in May and it was awesome!!!! It was pretty hot but crowds weren't terrible.

we love may! we have gone three times the last week of april or first 2 weeks into may. the weather has been great (especially compared to september trips) the crowds managable. just wait to go at least 2 weeks after easter. we are also planning on may 2017

We went once in May - 2003 and it was hot as hell. I vowed to never to at that time again : )

We went the first 2 weeks of May in 2014.

The weather was perfect......it wasn't overly hot and very little rain.

We enjoyed the parks and did not feel the crowds to be very bad at all.

We would definately go back at that time again.
